We’re off. The journey I’ve been dreaming of for so long is finally unfolding, one step at a time. A long trip lies ahead.
My rucksack? Heavier than it should be (of course), but I’ve decided to carry everything myself. In Nepal, it’s common to hire a porter, but for me, carrying my own sh-t feels like part of the experience. For the next two weeks, this backpack will be my shadow and my best friend. I’ve added a packing list for the curious souls wondering what exactly I’ll be lugging up and down those Himalayan trails.
People keep asking me if I feel nervous.
Honestly? I don’t. Not even a little.
What I feel is gratitude. Like this is exactly what I’m meant to be doing.
More than anything, I feel grateful—deeply and completely. To be able to take this time, to walk these paths, with no worries clouding my mind. Just life. Just adventure.
Let’s go.
